I had such a pleasant swim this morning. The swells eased right back but the conditions were oily and the sea was like a mirror reflecting a smoke-tinted pink sunrise. If it wasn't for the smoke you might think you're in a dream.

There's still some underling SE swell in play and I reckon as the tide fills in we might see a little more energy. Fingers crossed the wind holds off too!

The Freshy Help Out event is happening at Harbord Bowling Club tonight from 5pm. Bands, and good community vibes by the truckload plus raffle winners will be announced. I'm told there's still tickets left for the 12 mega raffles with all proceeds going to Red Cross Australia's Bushfire Appeal. Get your tickets here!
