Nor'west

Low Tide Strolling

Finally a little offshore wind angled into Sydney yesterday evening in the wake of the storms that passed to the north and south of us. Right now the wind is a light nor'west at 5kts and it should maintain the offshore direction until a southerly change early this afternoon. Almost every beach should have a little something to offer this morning and I reckon it'll improve with the incoming tide.

Did you see the sunrise this morning? The clouds had a straight line just above the horizon which created the illusion that the sun was rising below the horizon submerged in the ocean. Had me scratching my head. It's hard to make it out in the photos but to the naked eye it was quite unique.  Or maybe it was just me...?  I'll post another image on Instagram and get your comments.

Enjoy!
