Icarus
Into Dawn
If you haven't glanced forward to the weather forecast in Sydney, it makes for rather pleasant reading. Sunshine and temperatures nudging up towards 30 degrees for the next 7 days and beyond. Reference that with the Sydney September average of 21˚ and all the crazy weather that's been occurring across the globe, and the smoke haze in Sydney right now starts to take on a more sober tone. Time to top up your 50+ and get the hat out of storage.
The south swell has ramped up his morning along with a little mid-period east swell. It was hard finding a runner in any direction at first light at Queenie.... it's shallow and straight except for a rarest of peaky one. I reckon the beaches exposed to the secondary east swell might have been a better bet.

"A Common Thread" - This Friday, the Manly Pacific lobby bar, 55 North, are hosting the opening night of a pop-up exhibition of my photographs as part of the global MGallery Heritage Days. The exhibition will be held among some of the XL pictures I was commissioned to produce for their beautifully styled renovation. Come say g'day, grab a drink and chat all things community and photography from 5pm Friday.
