Perfect?
A couple of people described this morning to me as 10 outta 10. A perfect 10 is a rarity and not something I'd be bandying about willy-nilly however, this morning was definitely right up there. It was still and clear with just a handful of clouds and that beautiful rich light we seem to get in winter. Personally I'm keeping a little wiggle room in the scale for those outlier days of absolute perfection - 8.5 out of 10 from me (not counting for the distinct lack of waves of course).
Speaking of perfection and waves, have you been following what's unfolding at Lagundri Bay for the Nias Pro. I've never so many surfers score 18 plus in a heat and not win! North Steyne's Axel Curotta scored a 19.63, Saxon Reber got a 19.43 and Xavier Huxtable got a perfect 20 point heat score... crazy stuff. Plenty of action still to come including Queenscliff's Alysse Cooper in the next heat - Tune In - waves are pumping!
Should be waves here tomorrow... see you then.
