Oh man, the waves just keep on coming! Yesterday swell's XL swell caught me off guard. Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention but I certainly wasn't expecting to see triple overhead waves when I woke up on Sunday. From the end of my street yesterday I could see clean and powerful Queensie Bombie and Deadman's was going mental off in the distance.

This morning it has eased back to a much more manageable double overhead on the beachies and fading. Still, my swim out was one of the hardest I've had in years. I almost threw in the towel a couple of times when walls of whitewater pushed me back within 10 metres of where I started after 20 minutes into my swim. But, I made it out eventually... here's the photos.
