Slim picking on the wave-front this morning. It's flat-to-half-a-foot and you'll need every inch of foam you have access to to get yourself upright and in trim this morning. The nor-wester has blown that little south swell to a meagre pulse. Still, there's the odd heartbeat of knee-high runners if you need your fix.

The forecast for the weekend is a mixed bag. It's going to be cool and windy with almost zero swell tomorrow. Then, come Sunday, we should see a lift in swell from a very southerly direction. You'll have to hit the super exposed beaches if you want to get the full push in swell.
