Fruits of Winter
Brrrr, how about that for a frosty weekend! Fresh winds, cold temperatures and snow in the Blue Mountains erased any misconceptions that we'd escaped the depths of winter. We're in and we're in deep! There's been 140cm of snow fall at Thredbo and today's the sun is shining! Day of Day up the mountains today! Take me there!
Meanwhile the same storm that's been dumping snow is whipping up a solid South swell in the Tasman. There's 6-8ft of south swell feathered by cold offshore winds. Manly's missing the lion's share of the swell but if you want the full serving, jump up the Beaches a headland or two where it'll be double-overhead no doubt. The fruits of winter are hanging low today - enjoy!
