We had a moment of colour this morning. It was brief, maybe just a couple of minutes at the most but there was just enough light sneaking under the clouds to cast some pink into a sky full of heavy grey clouds. I was fiddling with the tripod and a couple of filters and almost missed the whole show... these sunrise's move at the speed of light sometimes so you've got to be ready!

That brief little flash of light was pretty much the only show in town this morning. The wind's up straight out of the east making for pretty average surf conditions. If you're keen, keep your fingers crossed for a favourable swing late in the afternoon.
