Picturesque
It's a cool, crisp and clear morning out there, single digits on the sand but the water's a relatively accommodating 19 degree. It's sweet relief to get the toes into the brine after a dash across some very frosty sand, the sand feels like ice and it's got to be 10 degrees warmer in than out!
It was one of the more picturesque morning on the water in recent memory. The water was pure glass with a touch of pink from clouds on the horizon and a beautiful little 2-3ft east swell. Clean and glassy with soft winter light - doesn't get much more visually pleasant than that.
This weekend the Annual Snowy McAlister Comp is being hosted by Manly Malibu Boardriders Club. Weather looks good, hopefully this little east swell hangs about for it.
Have a good long weekend where ever you're heading!
