Morning! How you doing? We're off and into 2021, feels like there's change in the air but it's going to happen slowly. The sun has been noticeably absent from our little Christmas/NY Break this summer. Maybe it took a trip north before the borders shut? I reckon I might have done the same if I'd had the chance.

The good news is that the sun's back and after a sensational weekend of weather, there's still plenty of sunshine left on the forecast. Half of Sydney hit the sand yesterday, it was like a public holiday with the beaches packed from sunrise to sunset. I was there too, swimming, surfing, soaking up the sunshine.

Today, tomorrow and Wednesday are looking the goods with light winds, sunshine and temps in the high 20's. They're pretty good figures in anyones book. We might even score the odd morning offshore. Despite the forecast for nor'easters, sometimes the offshore can sneak in under the cover of darkness and grooms up a little dawn session. Fingers crossed.

Today I thought I'd keep the first post of the year pretty simple. The pleasures of summer are simple... surf, swim, sunshine. Easy
