Light east wind, weak wind swell and clouds ain't exactly a recipe for good surfing and/or photography. However, when you have talent like Tully White & Tom Bennett in the line up and the odd splash of light, nothing becomes something and the results can be surprising. It's not pumping; quite the opposite. But the ocean can be a place of reflection and reset and venturing out almost always yields something positive.

The sun's out now and there's a light onshore breeze. Not a heap of surf about but if you lower your expectation right down to the floor you might just surprise yourself.
