Dusting of Pink

Lovely light out early this morning. When a rising sun collides with dark, low clouds the result is a beautiful rich light full of contrast and colour. We had everything from dusty subtle pinks to vibrant yellows and everything in between, a landscape photographers dream.

Surf? The waves aren't too bad out there today, all things considers. The wind's light with just a touch of west in it and there's a bit of east swell, albeit weak. Surfable? For sure.

Hope you get a chance to see the lunar eclipse the other night. The clouds held off for us and the moon got a nice red wash to it at totality. My attempt at something a little different is the last photos of today's post: a single exposure of 3 seconds with a slight movement of the camera half way, all in camera. Kind of a Star Wars look to it...

Have a good one.
