Bit Chilly!
It's cool out there this morning! A serious blast of cold dry air swept in yesterday blowing the rain out to sea and leaving us tucked under the doona in perfect sleep-in weather. I might have been there too if it wasn't for the alarm. We're heading to a measly top of 17 degrees in Sydney today. Time to get your nana-blanket out throw it over the knees and tuck it just out of view of your colleagues on Zoom.
Yesterday's fun little nor-east wind swell is still with us but it has dwindled down to a set once every 10-15 minutes. The most fruitful section was the inside runners on a board fast enough to make a closeout semi-surfable. Maybe when the tide's a little higher...
From today you're allowed to go check on your nan or mate for care. It's the first sign that the COVID social restrictions are easing and I'm sure the definition of care is going to get stretched and expanded in all manner of directions. Let's not blow all the good work and get too touchy, feely just yet, there'll be plenty of time for that later.
Last thing on the agenda to discuss is that blank wall you've been staring at for the last 4 weeks working from home. Come on, time to get some fresh art up there to remind you of all the good things we've got going on. Interested? If you're looking for a print, send me an email and I'll set up up with a personal discount code to use this weekend only. Quick, email me here
Big South swell coming Sunday...
