Pumping!
Dawn Grinds
The waves are pumping out there this morning! Big clean and hollow! As the swell has slowly faded and swung around to a more easterly angle it almost feels like it's getting bigger at North Steyne. This morning there were still some genuine 6 footers with proper girth behind them - I saw a few snapped boards, leggies and even a bodyboard completely ripped in half!
It was a tough morning for a swim with lots of water moving across a shallow sand bank and heaps of gritty sand messing up the clarity on my lens port. But, I managed to dodge a few sets and I think I almost got into the right spot a handful of times.
Oh, did you catch that sunrise? What a stunner! What a day!
Enjoy!
