She was a cold one this morning! There was a definite bite in the air with the winds blowing in from the WSW and cool temps causing a few early morning walkers to break out the jackets and scarves. Of course it did not phase the dedicated "Old and the Bold" or the "Bold and the Beautiful" down in the South end from hitting the water early. There were even a few insults being hurled towards some unsuspecting swimmers in wetties... On that note, today is a good day for a swim. The epic swells and perfect conditions that greeted celebrated guest photographer Andrew Quilty last week are nowhere to be found... a few ripples for the logs scattered around and certainly a beautiful morning. It was back to reality for many after the extendo long weekend and there were some looooong faces heading towards the wharf... chocolate eggs and beers are not to be mixed friends.
