The sky above Sydney certainly put on a light show last night and unless you were stuck in a bunker you would have at least caught a glimpse .  The sunset set social media abuzz with photos from all angles of our beautiful city, it's quite amazing how unifying a sunset like that can be.  I think quality and proliferation of camera phones have honed our appreciated for the wonder that happens around us - we're all photographers these days right!   It's really quite cool isn't it. This morning the lights were back on only this time momentarily.  Good sunsets and sunrises seem to come in pairs; I guess the same weather and cloud type create the light to colour up the sky.   Freshwater had a couple of knee to waist high peaks for the loggers but there was plenty of time between sets.
