Even though it's a little hard to rouse yourself out of bed on these cold Winter mornings the view is worth the effort.  This morning I hadn't even left my street when I was compelled to make a picture - hard to resist a dawn sky full of soft tones, perfect for silhouettes. The surf is much the same as yesterday; and the day before.  It's fast and straight but if your lucky or patient or both you might find yourself on the shoulder of a runner. Got to be in it to win it they say.

The word from the Bureau is that the mountains are about to receive a metre of snow and that cold blast from the south is heading our way. Chilly weekend ahead!
