Pretty grey morning out there today; pretty hard jumping out of bed and maintaining the enthusiasm. Especially with the final of the Billabong Pro going down in perfect waves at Teahupoo. If you haven't seen it yet check it out here. Kelly Slater took the title again proving he is still the man to beat in serious conditions. 11th World Title on the card?? With Jordy Smith injured, Kelly's victory makes the remainder of the tour an interesting proposition. I wonder what the Quiksilver NYC has in store for us post Hurricane Irene? There's not a lot on offer here in Manly this morning with the Southerly wind up early and the high-tide filling in most of the banks. If you want to surf maybe check a beach a little more open to the Southerly swell for a bumpy onshore session.
