Southern
The swell keeps coming , the offshores still blowing and the sun is back from a short recess in the clouds yesterday. Right down in the corner of South Steyne its well protected from these icy morning winds and there's only 2 foot of South Swell sneaking around the North Head and into the bay. Perfect conditions for a swim, a little log jam or for just leaning against the wall and soaking up the winter-sun. Queenscliff and North Steyne are still holding onto their share of the swell with some nice 3-4ft sets. This continuous South swell is going to stick around for another couple of days although the winds may start swinging around to the South later in the day messing up the more exposed stretches of the coast. Yesterday was cold huh? If you're digging the cold weather and you want to get down with some winter festivities, head over the the Bondi Winter Festival. As part of the festival the team from Little Hobo's Creative Collective are putting on a sweet little event down at the Bondi Pavillion. There's going to be a showing of the classic Marilyn Monroe film Some Like it Hot as well as a huge line up of live music and a photographic exhibition. Go Ice Skating on the Bondi Ice Rink and then come join us for a warm evening at the Bondi Pavillion. All funds raised go to Royal 70's epic mission to bring surfing, skate, music and art to the youth of Cuba. Info and RSVP's on the book of faces.
