:: Solstice Fire Sky

Happy Winter Solstice to you! We've reached the shortest day of the year and from now on in we'll be counting the extra daylight everyday in minutes. The Sun lit up the sky in spectacular fashion this morning as if in celebration of the Solstice. There were pinks and purples through to oranges and bright yellows; one of the best of the year for sure. The Old & The Bold always love to ham it up for special days like today and this morning at 5:30am they left the Manly Life Saving Club dressed in their best Cave Man outfits! In an attempt to scare the tourists there was some proper Caveman behaviour through The Corso however everyone in Manly bar the O&B were asleep so the tourists stayed safe for now.

There's not much in the way of surf this morning and it's going to fade throughout today and tomorrow. If your super keen or you missed International Surfing Day yesterday, head North up the Beaches and find somewhere getting a little more swell.
