A little bit of colour goes a long way when it's reflected and smudged on a glassy dawn sea surface.  This morning wasn't the most spectacular sunrise but there was just enough colour to fill the frame of an 85mm lens at f/2.  If you're into the technical stuff, f/2 is a very wide aperture and makes for a shallow depth of field; the blurred foregrounds and focus dropping away swiftly in the background. Surfing wise, it's much the same as yesterday but with the chance of a sneaky set or two courtesy of a very long period South Swell. Good things come to those that wait, isn't that what they say?
