First thing this morning was a bit dismal - small waves, bumpy surface conditions and a bleak sky. However, give it an hour or two and its glassed off with the first effects of a long period swell courtesy of ex-TC Evan are starting to appear. It's only forecast to be in the 3-4 ft range but expect a couple of rogue sets to be in the mix. There should be plenty of long period ENE swell across the whole weekend but we'll have a light onshore to contend with.
