Summer's in the house today and the Northerly wind was up making its presence felt early. That means onshores for most of our side of the bridge and limited options for quality surf. Manly had a few wobbly ones on the early hightide as well as a random rip bowl that was serving up some weird left handers in front of the surf club. It was like panning for gold in the rip bowl though with tons of rubbish and the odd nugget to be found. Big congratulations to Richie Lovett and Sean Doherty on launch The Big Sea last night. After hearing the speeches from the people closest to Richie I was compelled to purchase a copy, get it signed and head straight home to read it.
