The East swell that was on the forecast has arrived on time and on budget.  There was a bit of morning sickness to it at first light due to some overnight Northerly wind but by 8am the wind had swung due West and it was starting to look the goods.  The offshore's going to howl for the rest of the day! The Northern Beaches loves an East swell so I took a drive to check a few spots before sun up.  Everything I saw was a little wild with too much water moving, unless you had a tow assist handy.  Once the offshore sets in and irons out the bumps, the tide drops and the swell subsides there's going to be some good waves around!
