Northerly

The Northerly breeze was up early this morning making conditions at Manly pretty average for a Friday morning pre-work shred.  With all that South Swell that's been whipped up over the last couple of days the smart thing to do would be to head somewhere getting the full brunt of the swell and offshore in a Northerly.  A few places come to mind and I suspect they're better than average right now... drive North or drive South, you'll find some gold I reckon. There'd be a couple of sore heads around this morning after The Shop Next Door and the crew from RVCA threw a shindig last to launch their collaborative pop-up store.   The Shop Next Door has sprung from the ashes of the shop formally know as Six Ounce and with RVCA on board for a temporary pop-up concept the place it looking transformed and fresh as spring daisies.    Mark Alsweiler brushed some paint on ply to give add some special flavour and colour.  Art on the walls from RVCA's Artist Network Program, killer threads on the shelves and the same hand-crafted surfboards you'd come to expect - it's the same but different.   Pop in and see what's new - buy some threads, check out some sleds.
