It's the offshore day we've all been hanging out for and there was definitely no rush this morning.  With consecutive days of onshore winds there's plenty of Nor-East wind swell about although the 7am high-tide was holding the waves back first thing.  By 9am the hazy had cleared from the sky, the banks were starting to line up with the dropping tide and the offshore had groomed some nice shape into the swell.   Should be decent out there all day and well worth a paddle if you can squeeze one in. Don't forget that tomorrow night Analog is screening the premier of Chromatic at The Steyne.  There's beers on in the beer garden and the film will start some time after 7:30.  Should be fun times and good viewing!
