If someone called you to say the surf was as sweet as a pumkin seed this morning and you dismissed it as some April Fools prank, sorry to say it was no joke. Yeah sure, it wasn't all-time but there were some super fun ones coming through and the conditions were just magic.  The water is still so warm (no joke either) you'd be sweating in any sort of rubber attire.  In fact, throw the rubber back in the cupboard and get born-again in your boardshorts or bikini.  You'll love the freedom. The wind's still offshore but forecast to swing in very lightly from the NE.  You'd be pretty much assured of some fun for most of the day if surfing is on your mind this April Fools Day.  Heavy southerly change late Saturday followed by offshores for Sunday.  I like the taste of them apples.
