There's always potential for waves when a consistent Nor-East wind pattern collides with a strong Southerly change.This morning the NE swell that's been building up over the last few days is running head on into the stiff South South West wind that pushed through while we were sleeping.

It's a great swell direction for Manly and there's a truckloads of lefts marching perfectly down some well shaped sandbanks, problem is you're surfing straight into the wind.

With the Southerly blowing at 20kts, the Nor-East direction in the swell won't last long. Go get some while it lasts!
