It's a bit of a mixed bag out there this morning.  The wind was a light offshore for most of the dawn session until a light Northerly sprung up about 20 mins ago.  Even with the offshore there was still a bit of morning sickness bump to it and the 8:30 high tide wasn't doing the conditions any favours.  Worth a paddle still if you could get out before work. Back over in New York City and the Eastern Seaboard of the US, residents are bracing for Hurricane Sandy.  Its looking like a morphing crazy beast as it draws in other storm systems from the North-West. Thousand of people have been evacuated, the New York City Subways are closing down and supermarket shelves are being cleaned out as 'Frankenstorm' moves up the coast.  It looks like it's going to get seriously wild!  Best of luck and stay safe friends.
