:: Misty Morn

The big deal this morning was the mist flooding out beneath the Queenscliff cliffs.  This beautiful spectacle happens when the near freezing air that's been sitting above the Queenscliff lagoon meets the relatively warm water of the sea.  It's cold down in the lagoon and by the look on some of the grasses, it may have even reached close to zero in the dark hours of this morning.  The mist machine really fires up when there's a cold Nor-Wester and this morning was perfect conditions. There's some little runners around this morning but the real highlight would have been paddling out under the cliffs.  I've done before and it's like been in a steam bath, only cold!
