Nice to be back on the beach for sunrise at Manly this morning. The weather down here is way better than the Gold Coast right now! When I flew out yesterday there was heavy rain and a low pressure system just starting to spin and deepen directly off the Gold Coast. That's the system that's going to deliver rain, wind and swell to us starting tomorrow. The incoming swell is looking like it's going to be a great direction for us although the wind will be all over the place. It's forecast to swing from South to East to Nor-East and back to South in the coming days. You'll need to time your paddle with the wind if you want to score some quality - be there should be a few windows of opportunity.

Couple of fun waves around this morning too. 2-3 feet of ENE swell although the banks are a little funny at the moment - there's gutters and holes all over the place.
