The sand is hard packed and shallow out there at the moment and with a drop in swell it's skipping the deeper banks and breaking hard and hollow in the shallows.  I copped a beat down this morning that I really didn't expect from a 2 footer; I went over the falls standing and must have have backflipped 3 times hitting the sand on each. If you're up for some rough and tumble you'd have a bit of fun out there. Pick you're wave, pull in and grab as much tunnel vision as you can before the sand get's ya!  Take an old board though, I wouldn't risk a new stick with the state of the sand right now.
