Bit of a slow start for the Sprout Daily office this morning... too much Local Love last night.  Great event and a huge thanks to the Manly Pacific, the boys from Surfing World and especially Ashleigh Mannix who lit up the party with some classy dressing and an even more classy voice.  Thanks to all for popping on down.

The wind was up early this morning which was a pretty good excuse for staying in the stretcher for a couple more minutes.  The waves are still around the 2 foot mark making it contestable for the Australian Open competitors but not so pretty for photography.  I took a wander around the contest site this morning to see what was happening.  Still action a plenty in and out of the water.  Tonight local bands Step-Panther & Millions are playing at The Moonshine Bar at The Steyne thanks to Deus and The Shop Next Door.  Free and all welcome!  Epic!
