We're pretty lucky here in Sydney.  Even our shortest day isn't that short comparatively and our Winters are reasonable mild; unless of course the Sou-Westerlies are blowing in which case it's chilly in anyone's book. This morning was a mild one, still there's a distinct look of Winter to the dawn; dark, blue and clear with a neat little South swell running.

If you're up for a wave, find a South facing beach and sift the runners from the closeouts and you'll be fine.

This Saturday night Surfrider Foundation are hosting an event at the Manly Bowling Club to celebrate International Surfing Day.  70's Surf Music superband Tamam Shud will be playing! Tickets $50 or two for $75 - Find a mate and grab your tickets online.
