It's the last day of the year, financially speaking that is, and it's pretty dull, flat and gloomy out there.  Yeah, perhaps a metaphor?  Maybe.  There's a ton of you out there that could draw a far more actuate picture of the state of the economy on this day than I so I'll just stick to describing the surf for now. There's a bit more motion in the ocean today but it's mostly SE wind swell knocked up from yesterday's blow.  The light Nor-Wester early this morning tempting a few in for a paddle but now we're back to the South Easterly onshore we had yesterday.  It's not looking pretty but if you're keen for a grovel there's waves.
