A mix of the most talent and creative log riders took centre stage at First Point, Noosa this morning as the Vans Joel Tudor Duct Tape Invitational hit the water.  Joel Tudor's been fighting a solo battle for most of his career to have longboarding judged and recognised for the traditional style and aesthetics that were created by the pioneers of modern surfing. The Duct Tape is a showcase of logging with a gentlemanly competitive angle where traditional logging is celebrated.  Single Fins Only; No Leash Plugs; No Top Turns.  Invitees have come from Europe, the East and West Coasts of the US as well as local invitees and wildcards.  Round One kicked off in perfect condition at First Point this morning and the riders didn't fail to entertain.
