If you saw the ocean last night on dusk you'd have to have been an absolute optimist to set your alarm for this morning.  It was about as flat as it gets; not 1ft, probably not even half a foot; nothing! But; this morning there's waves! And good ones too via a fresh little pulse from the South. The surf forecasters had it, I just didn't believe.

There's 2ft of nice clean Southerly swell lines and a very cold offshore breeze grooming the peaks.  Your favourite little bank is probably looking pretty fun right now.

Next week I'm heading to the Mentawai Island's.  I'll be posting from there whenever  I get some 3G reception - tune in!
