Travels great but how good is it when you get home and there's fun waves on your doorstep. There's the lightest hint of a Nor-West blowing right now and 2-3ft of South East swell. Thats's a good combo for fun waves and with shallow sand and a little offshore breeze you might even find yourself getting tubed. I stood on the beach for the first 30 minutes of the morning but as soon as the sun came out I couldn't resist a swim. The water's clear and as warm as it has been all year. It's got to be 23 degrees plus on the shallows. The wind should stay light most of the day so if you've got some time today, get yourself in the Tasman.
