There was a fair bit of dawn froth this morning with surfers rocking up in the dark jumping at the bit with expectation;  me included.   After yesterday's late afternoon semi-glass-off and the forecast heralding a North West change for the morning the prospects were looking good for an epic morning.  Unfortunately it didn't really live up to expectations.   The swell has dropped a touch and there was a fair bit of morning sickness messing up sea surface conditions at first light.  There's still some punchie waves to be had and conditions should improved as the offshore irons out the bumps.  

Worth another look mid morning if you've got the chance.
