Been in the water this week? Is it just me or is the water as cold now than it's been all year? Maybe it's Winter's final momentum or perhaps some fresh cold up-welling from the Northerly wind/swell flow. Either way, it was a shock diving under the shorey this morning! High tide was throwing some wobbly backwash in with the ENE swell this morning so finding a bank with a decent running was a challenge. There's supposed to be a little bump in South swell today and tomorrow but this gusty offshore wind might hold it off. Might be worth keeping one eye on the cam's if you're keen for a paddle.
