The Southerly change shot through yesterday evening bringing with it a significant drop in temperature.  The good news it has also brought with it an increase in swell but it's messy and uninviting.   The Coastalwatch crew are calling it up to 5ft at the south facing beaches around the corner but here in Manly it's only 2-3ft and wind affected.  Not much to get excited about I'm afraid.   Forecast is for SE-NE winds all day.  Might be some options open up when the wind swings Nor-East. Up on the Gold Coast the Quiksilver Pro has called another lay-day.   Might have to settle for work today.
