Packed the van yesterday afternoon and headed down a Highway named Bruce (classic Australianan!!)  with the Byron Bay region the target destination.  The weather up in these parts is still wet making van-life pretty damp and testing. The good thing is that there's a heap of quality swell and world-class point breaks galore up here!  We emerged from the van at dawn at Broken Head to a cloud filled sky and big high-tide hiding the real size and impact of the South-East swell that running.  It's low-tide now and The Pass is firing from the tip to Clarks.  Seriously - check out the cam's!

Needless to say - we're out there there!   Hopefully we'll get some respite from the rain and some nice light this afternoon.
