I took a drive up the beaches to Curl Curl this morning to see if any of that South swell was filtering in to its more exposed banks.  There was the odd head-high set but the overnight Northerly has left the ocean with a serious case of morning sickness; closeouts, chops and wobbles.  The good news is that the Northerlies of the past couple of days have blown up a little wind swell and back at Manly there's 1 to 2 foot of surfable Nor-East swell.  Maybe should have stayed home. You might have noticed the slow-shuttler effect the last few posts.  I got myself a couple of new ND filters over the break and this run of small waves is a good chance to give them a through testing.  I'll ease back on the pool stuff tomorrow; promise.
