:: Backwash

Another crisp morning of bone chilling offshores and a clear bright sky.  The waves were micro on the 8am high tide and there were some backwash hazards being thrown up just to keep everyone on their toes.  As small as it was, there were still a few guys out getting the set waves and the young rippers surfing off the pipe were making it look pretty shedable. It's tiny right now but there's 2-3ft of South Swell out there so I'm sure we'll see some more energy starting to flow through as the tides retreats.  Either that or head up the beaches and sniff out a wave on the more exposed beaches.

Catch you tomorrow. ∆ Murray
