It's not a great day out there now is it?   Rain, small waves, cool Southerly wind; but at least it's Friday on the eve of a long weekend and that's got its appeal.   There's a little South Swell due across the weekend but it's forecast to come with a bit of wind.  I'm planning a weekend of coffees and a roast dinners. The 27th Annual Snowy McAlister Comp will be hosted by Manly Mal Club this weekend, that's probably why it's raining!   They're also a Gala Ball to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 World Championships of Surfing held here at Manly.   Tickets still available if you want to mingle with some legends of the sport.
